Word of the Day

Word of the Day- February 7, 2018

I know, I know! I am posting the ‘Word of the Day’ after a long time! Due to multiple reasons this good practice got stalled for a bit! But every set back or shortcoming teaches us something new. Don’t you think? Now THAT is OPTIMISM!

It can also be referred to as ‘positive attitude’.

There are some idioms/phrases as well to describe it. Any guesses?

These idioms can be used for the word optimism – seeing the glass half full instead of half empty or things have a way of working out for the best.

  4. Dear Ma’am Tarana,
Thank you very much for sharing the link to the word of the day, it relly helps. Also, I made a connection between the word optimism and our class discussions. We discussed about positive and negative thinking. Optimism is basically positive thinking.

    1. Yes, that’s right!
But once you’ve inculcated optimism you are able to keep your chin up! Let’s see if anyone can come up with any other ones.
